Interfaith Peace and Justice Book Fair: “Cost of War, Culture of Peace”

This interfaith peace event sponsored by Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace (icujp.org) is the first of its kind at the LA Times Book Fair. There will be an AFSC bookstore presence, as well as  Quaker children’s book author named Gretchen Woefle. I will be on a panel called “Interfaith Peacemaking: Hope for a New Millennium” with a Sufi, a Muslim, and yoga practitioner named Philip Goldberg who has written “American Veda” about the influence of Hinduism on American culture (see flyer below). The goal of this event  is to promote authors who have written about peace and justice, especially from a religious or spiritual perspective.
